Meet Our Faculty and Staf

Marcy Holub

N&R Founder; Music Director, BME

Marcy received an Associate's Degree in Arts and Fine Arts (AAFA) from Lewis and Clark Community College (L&C) in 2008. She continued her education at Greenville College, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education (BME) in 2010. After receiving her BME, she assisted with Marching 100 sectionals at Alton High School during the summer of 2010. Currently, she is working on her Master’s Degree in Music Education at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2013, she was hired to instruct the Intermediate Orchestra at Providence: Fine Arts Center in St. Louis and will be continuing with them for the 2014-2015 school year. Marcy has also privately taught various students on piano, clarinet, tenor sax, alto sax, flute, and guitar since 2006. During the school year, she performs in ensembles at L&C, as well as the Alton Municipal Band in the summer, the annual spring musicals in Calhoun County, and other various performances in the Alton area. Marcy served on the Greater Alton Concert Association board from 2009-2014 and has worked as a stage hand - assisting with stage set up, lighting, and audio for events - at the Ann Whitney Olin Theater at L&C since 2004.
