Keep Kids in Music

This project is still in the planning stages and constantly evolving. Once finalized, it will offer musical opportunities for underprivileged students within our community who may not have the necessary means with which to further their abilities and gain experience in musical activities. Notes and Rhythms: School of Fine Arts believes that every individual should have the opportunity to express themselves through music. We do not want a student to be turned away for any reason and we wish to provide them with as many opportunities as possible to stay involved in these life-enriching activities.

Keep Kids in Music will cater to students ages 3-18 and allow these students to have private lessons and sectionals without the normal costs involved. They will also participate in musical performances, such as recitals and concerts, to express their talents and creativity in front of their families and piers. Music serves as a morale booster, but the families of underprivileged children lack the funds to engage in personalized musical activities. If our community can involve these children in the music enterprise, we believe that they will become more constructive individuals due to the confidence building programs that we will be promoting in our school.
