Marcibel is ready for performance day at the 43rd Annual Glenn Miller Festival!

Marcibel and Lord Naipo at breakfast….awaiting the others and our mini morning show ;)

Marcibel dialing Pennsylvania 6-5000 ;)

Marcibel met several Glenn Miller fans and performers at the festival! Here she is with Tom Daugherty, director of The Tom Daugherty Orchestra, as well as The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Big Band which performs every year after musicians from across the U.S. (and sometimes globe) meet a few hours for 1 rehearsal the day before their show!

Marcibel with Jarrod Harrah, another member of both The Tom Daugherty Orchestra and The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Big Band.

Marcibel with Doug Horne, another member of The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Big Band.

Marcibel and Aldus with Marvin Negley, president of The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society and Hideomi Aoki, Japanese contributor who comes each year with whatever group comes from Japan. This year (and most years) The Tamana High School Girls Band….they were all quite enamored of Marcibel :P

Marcibel and Aldus with Pat Bogdanski, who served our meals, and Angela Green, who mostly sold merchandise, but also helped us with a few issues ;)

Marcibel and Aldus with 2 more members of The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Big Band (Chris Gardner, left; Tom Ives, right) and their wives (Cheryl, left). Chris was also the videographer for our show, as well as every other show at the festival! He definitely kept busy haha Once we have had a chance to critique our performance, you should be seeing some video shortly ;)

Marcibel and Aldus with Cary Hahn, announcer for The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Big Band and technically regarded as the “MC” of the festival…..he even introduced us before our show ;)

Marcibel and Aldus with Manami MurakamiHaraguchi, who assisted the board president during the festival.

Marcibel with none other than Bill Baker from the Netherlands! He has performed with The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Big Band in years past, but this year, he performed with his own: Bill Baker’s Big Band.

Marcibel with Steve Neve, another member of The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Big Band……and his wife, whose name will (hopefully) be added later :/ :(
